The online self assessment is a free service you can use to find out if your home needs improvements. There is absolutely no obligation to go any further. If you prefer to skip this step,
simply call one of the KY Home Performance (KHP)-certified energy evaluators, who will help you with the process.
Before starting the assessment, please have a copy of your latest electric utility and natural gas bills. If you use other fuels to heat your home, please have an idea of how much of those fuels
you use per year. Your utility usage data is one of the best sources of information about how your home uses energy. Based on your actual usage and a few other questions about your house,
we can provide you an estimate of how your energy use compared to similar homes in your area.
If you do not have your last 12 months of energy bills, you can get them by going to your utility company's Web site. Links to Kentucky's utility company Web sites are listed below.
You will create a username and password so you may return later to edit or review your data. Your energy-useage data will be used in comparison of other homes in your area, but no personally identifiable
information is ever shared with anyone without your permission.
